#3 'Rumble' Ronnie Colemon – Smashed Hip (-MA) #5 Dante Fowler Jr. – Fractured Skull (-AV) #14 Marquez Pope – Dead (RIP) #15 Jordan Hill – Dead (RIP)
“The importance of the lucky cas on super-star Dante Fowler Jr. on the first turn, caused by a simple wrestling bum like Joe Stydahar, can not be overstated.
Nothing went well for the Unicorns all game, and those games will happen, but the risk of kicking to the opponent is that such a lucky early string of cas dice for the enemy can really hobble a team's chances quickly.
Three out on turn one, then the ogre rolls a true quad-skulls as the Unicorns first action of the game. Not good. Getting the ball down to the ground was the lone highlight, but the luck to keep it away from a frenzy/tackle counter-attacker just wasn't there.
The 1TTD attempt was ruined by a BLITZ.
In the second half, the out-numbered Unicorns can't get any removal, and the Ogre rolls skulls again (pro-fail) to give away the Unicorn offensive drive.
Throw away game with those dice, but the 3 key injuries make the draft much more interesting.
