Scary opponent, heaps of Claw/Mighty and enough tackle to make me doubt my decision to take dodge on doubles everywhere. Only two guard, though.

Went with dual Ball&Chain and assorted inducements, hoping to control the field with the weapons and take the focus of my own players.

Winning the toss and the fame helped with that, getting Blitzed! on less so. But it all worked out in the end, we thwirled and wandered upfield and our armour held up exceptionally well. Walked it in on turn 8 and then the bribe failed, so that was the end of the Ball and Chain fun. Still, 16 turns of whirly str 7 is good value!

Defensive drive started out decently, trading some hits, trying to screen... until a well placed Custard Pie gave me a shot on the ball!

Or would have, had a goblin not 1/81'd a block to free the way. Boo! Boo that goblin!

Still, we got another shot thanks to a failed chaos handoff, even recovered the ball, only to lose it and get scored on in turn 8 after all.

The TTM attempt got close, very close... Only failing the landing roll, despite using the last rr.

SO OT, no RR's... but we win the toss again! And with some running, and hitting, and changing sides once or twice, we pull through!

Will need to up my game, though. Misplaced some assists here and there, forcing extra dodges later. And should definitely, absolutely Power Apo something if I induce an extra apothecary. Not saving the BH wrackler made the second half way harder than it should've been. And then to not save the permed gobbo was a waste. He had spp, darnit!

But anyway, great fumbbl cup match, from anticipation to execution.
