Solid Orc opponent, no frills except for the 3 ag 4 blitzers. 8 MB, 8 guard, 5 tackle, monstrous record.
Figured I'd go with 2 babes and an apo to keep my good players on the pitch, with Skitter added. Considered 2 extra goblins and bomber for extra numbers and chaos, but figured I wouldn't need that many extra players.
2 failed apoths and a failed Troll KO roll later, kinda regretting that decision.
But still put up a good fight the first half, despite the troll going Really stupid 4-5 times. Including for the TTM attempt.
Got to surf the ball carrier, but couldn't recover after. Would have been able to if I just played it differently and blitzed with the SV instead of moving in an assist. One misplay. Well, one there. Must've been others too, but that is the one I'll keep kicking myself for.
Second half defensive drive with 7 players, 4 of them goblins, went as expected. B'ssh'r tried and took out some orcs, but the dodges failed when the last shot at the ball materialized. Close, so close!
