“The Raiders were on an awful run. So facing a Wood Elf team that was missing all positionals (Wardancers, Treeman, Catcher) to injury was just what we needed to get us kickstarted.
To start thrower Throtz got the ball to Zloos while linerat Silentkill did a shocking blow to injure one of the Journey Elves. We did some manouvering but didn't take long to get that first TD on the board. The Elves then raced up the pitch to equalize quickly. Making an endzone GFI!
We then had an incredible and brutal receiving turn with two KOs caused, then Silentkill living up to his name and killing a Journey Elf, and a quick pass being successful. We got the 2nd TD by half-time. The ko'd Elves returned but the unusually tough Skaven still had players advantage.
The Elves then did another quick score. A double skulls to blitz through our line was rr'd and again an endzone gfi was made!
We were in trouble when a handoff failed. The Elves stole and passed it wide. But Gutter Skratz tackled the carrier down and our rookie GR Snutz got the ball. He advanced but an Elf 4+ dodged in and both down'd him. Thankfully Zloos was there to regain the ball. With 11 players left we were able to protect him though he was eventually pushed over the line. Elfukai couldn't get pushes going for a one turn chance so we get the win!

We were fortunate with avoiding injury today. The Raiders now hope to get some momentum going!”
