“The Tigers entered the game versus a dwarf lineup with concerns they weren't skilled enough to deal with their bash game. The first half proved otherwise.

The Tigers started off not engaging the dorf's as much as possible, letting only Kellen Winslow the Minotaur blitz into dangerous situations. They shuffled the dorf line of scrimmage back and forth until the opportunity struck and they knocked the ball free. A scrum ensued and it looked as if the Tigers would be able to scoop and run to the end zone. Then it happened. Chase Daniels took a crushing hit to his hip. The shocked Tigers forgot about the ball and for the last two turns and hit anything they could find.

The Tigers came out for the second half fired up, but the well trained dorfs blitzed the kick off and forced to the Tigers to adjust. They did well until Winslow failed to properly block a dwarf lino. The team turned to watch him fall and that was the only moment the dorfs needed. They KO's three beastmen and took control of the field. A few turns later a stupid hobo rubbed it in as he high-stepped into the end zone. Coach Garnak threw his clipboard at Coach Valen. Insults in every language were heard throughout the stadium and on the field. The refs, now scared, took some money handed them from a booster and left. Calmer heads prevailed as no dirty fouls were thrown even with the bribed refs nowhere in sight. This said, the teams had to be separated twice leaving the field. The post game interviews got heated, with more insult bleeped out than legitimate responses were given.

All in all, the game ended with the result most handicappers predicted, but a rivalry has been born... stay tuned!
