Defending champions, the Sisters of Sigmar squad known as the Purge kneel in silent prayer to their Lord Sigmar in thanks for granting them an undefeated season, and for the strength to carry them through one more challenge.

Their entreaty is interrupted by the shaking of the ground and rumble of mighty limbs as they strike the ground. The Dryads of the Athel Loren Arbor enter the stadium being led by none other than the mighty Deeproot Strongbranch!

The Arbor remembered their last meeting with the Purge at the end of the season and decide to bring some heavy muscle with them this time, in addition a sack of coin for the ref, what passes as a 'babe' to their race, as well as a mysterious robed figure bringing up the rear and crackling with energy.

The Arbor win the coin toss and choose to kick.
The first half sees good defense and few errors. A couple of removals on both sides takes us to turn 7. Attendant Pricilla holds the ball near the end zone and strong in her faith decides to stall. Arbors turn and Hyllis makes a breakaway blitz singlehanded taking down the star with a frenzied blitz and Knocks Out Priscilla!. Ball stays in bounds and Verna is out of moves to pick it up. Purge turn 8, Attendant Constance saved the drive, singly blitzing Vernaoff the ball, scooping it up and scoring.
Turn 8 the Dryads know they get one turn to try and break the heart of the Sisters who decide to put 3 of the Sister Superior on the line hoping to stop any attempts at a one turn TD. The Dryads don't disappoint Verna injures Sister Tabitha (patched up by the apothecary) and Sister Sarah is knocked out with a foul.
Second half comes and Sarah stays out, but Hyllis the st4 Birch returns.
The crown gets impatient and a riot stalls the game a turn, then the chess match continues.
More tight play, good positioning on both sides with few errors. Turn 6 comes and the Arbor are finally able to make a diagonal break through the middle and Syriaca gets just within range to score on the north side. Purge can just get there with the right combination of dodges and go for its, and Temperence breaks free to luckily knock the ball free. Turn 7 Syriaca scoops the ball back up and gets closer to the end zone but can't safely defend her. Sister 7 sees Sister Tabitha attempt the lone blitz only getting a push, but the push is into the waiting tackle zone of Priscilla. Seeing that Priscilla can also only get a single hit on the ball carrier, Magistra Minerva makes a risky dodge to come assist. Bolstered by the Magisters presence, Priscilla hits Syriaca and knocks her out with the ball bouncing behind the sisters. Turn 8 for the Arbor and the wizard makes a desperate attempt to free up the ball throwing a fireball! The magic brings down Minerva, but not the other two Sisters covering the ball. The poor rookie Dryad that has the only possible attempt to tie the game, cannot make the dodges to succeed.

We thank Sigmar again for his blessings in assisting us to achieve a perfect
10-0-0 season and continue to keep the Sacred Idol of Potzipanzi out of heathen hands.
