“Referee certainly was showing a disheartening lack of interest in the early portions of the game as the Manbiters boots were removing Rat Ogres in large quantities. Only 4 Moulder team members remained after the first drive to 8 for the Manbiters who still had 4 on the bench.

7v11 for the 1 turn attempt which an error in positioning caused to fail. Still a guy on the bench for the Manbiters. A slave and a Rat Ogre for my team are the only casualties to this point. (Apo gone)

Hatcheteer, who to this point has had one of his worst games, wakes up and smashes a Gnoblar in frustration after the positioning error.

8v11 to start the second half. Hatcheteer KOs the bomber who was placed on the line in turn 1. 8v10. T2:8v9 Failed foul! 8v8 Failed blitz and an ogre stays down.

Successful foul, but caught leaves both teams with 7 to start T4. Ball starts to advance and the carrier gets FROGGED! Lost a slave. 6v7 and one is a frog and the ball has 2 tackle zones. Esther Kril with a hero play to get the pickup and get deep.

Hatcheteer gets another one, but we lose the carrier for the game. Manbiters get a one turn attempt with 11 menz vs. 6.

6v11 to start OT and Manbiters and their 11 menz get the ball. Looking a little desperate at this point.

Hatcheteer gets a removal and the ref awakens. 6v9. Ogres have a wild animal turn, but using a RR...Tackle is on the ball. Rookie Airk Martigan makes a wild play to get on the ball with a long range dodge.

Numbers are now even, but 2 Rat Ogres on the ground. Manbiters fail a long range blitz and carrier is still in trouble. Carrier and a tackle piece both leave the game for good. 6v4 menz.

Hero blitz by the downed Maneater pops the ball and stuns the carrier. Moulder can't get a slave free to get to the ball. Maneater with the pickup. Maneater gets removed by the blitz and a failed dodge removes another gnoblar. 6v2 after turn 6, but the score will require 4 GFIs in 3 turns and no one has a RR.

A risky blitz gets the other maneater down and Tentacles holds him in place unable to blitz the carrier. Salvation? Not today! That damned tripwire over the goal!

Dice roll for the win and 6-2 in favor of Smouldering Intensity...exactly the number of men left for each team in OT.
