“A tough match against lynx and one where I foretold the main talking point.

In a previous game with my Woodies, I saved a Wardancer from death and lynx killed my Str 4, Ag 5 lineman. In this one, I saved a guard Blitzer from death and knew what was coming, 2 turns later my Str 4, Ag 5 Star dies from a foul.

Game was a close one. First drive by the Dark Elves saw a couple of Chaos taken off the pitch, leaving room for the Elves to break through and score.

Second half the Dark Elves tried to stop the Chaos drive with a few 1D's on a blockless carrier, but to no avail, so 1-1 at full time and into OT.

Chaos received, but the Dark Elves swarmed, looking for a mistake from the Chaos team. After a bit of dice rolling, the Chaos moved down pitch, but with a 1D chance able to be opened on the carrier. That was enough and once the ball was loose, the Elves did what Elves do best and the Chaos could not recover.

Other that the key foul, the other highlight of the match was a Wizard hitting 4 out of 4 players in a fireball. Most impressive.
