“After losing players in the last 2 games, I came into the match against the Chaos Dwarves with not a huge amount of confidence. A highly skilled Bull and Claw / MB dwarf added to my worries.

The game however was not fully as expected. I managed to half the drive of the CD's, as both teams got bogged down in the quagmire and almost had a chance to score at the end of the half.

Interstingly, my opponent was keen on Blitzing every turn with his mino first half and second half was quickly out of position trying to line up group fouls, allowing the Dwarves to move down the side and, after a 1D on a bull, score.

A blitz allowed the Dwarves to put further pressure on the CDs, which was weakened by a snaked GFI by the dwarf runner (7 of 26 GFI's failed, includin 2 snaked GFI's in the game). Thankfully my opponent took a turn at snaking a GFI with e ball carrying bull, allowing the dwarves in for 2-0 and the match.”
