“One of those matches where we played from our back foot the whole time but managed to win it through sheer determination (i.e. luck). BeanBelly's necro had us beat in strength (due to guard), mobility, and skill but Rylan Horse-eater continually bailed the team out with his dodging, pickups, and overall excellence of play. Honestly, could have lost the match with a single bad dodge in either half but managed to get the tough rolls when we needed them.”
First Half
Expedition's End received and the more developed Necro put the pressure on sacking the ball carrier. Withergrasp was earning his gold though and made a number of key blitzes and the ball was moved half the length of the pitch for a last gasp score 1-0
Second Half
Perfect D made things a bit tricky for IP Stealers, who were 9 v 11 at this point. The speedsters got round the edge of the line and despite Withergrasp's attentions scored it in about T4. 1-1
Nurgle received with just 10 players now v's 11. The crowd taking a further player out with a rock. IP Stealers attakced confidently, pressuring the line and launching a frenzied attack on the rookie ball carrier - but he rode the blocks - dodged away and threw a long pass downfield to a rotter. 2-1
