“Blistraknaw was terrified. The Clawpacks next opponents were currently eating some kind of hobgoblin, one of the fans from a previous game. They had hands like hammers and dwarved all of his elite stormvermin. The teams chances of surviving looked slim.

The ogres chose to recieve and promptly decimated the line, knocking out Threepus and Reepus with Riktikch stunned from a blow to the head. The Taster grabbed the ball and lumbered into a cage.

The rats went through the normal drill of trying to screen iut the brutes, launching blitzes at gnoblars and dodging away from the ogres. The butchers trundled their way up the field, eliminating Riktikch, killing Twolk and dragging him towards the kitchen. Kratch was also taken down, and would not return to consciousness until the end of the match.

Soon the brutality of the ogres meant that Clan Mors didn't have sufficient manpower to defend and the ogres ran it over. Targeted blitzes had taken their toll on the gnoblars, but the Stirpoint team had reserves aplenty and so fielded a full team going into the second half.

The offense was an untidy affair, and only Threepus making a wonderful pass to Skwisk who ran it in meant that there was still a game. Blistraknaw let out a sigh of relief, and prayed to the horned rat the defense would be successful.

After the customary casualty on the line, the ogres made a solid start into skaven territory. Unfortunately for them, the ogres were having trouble keeing their minds on the game and fell into an argument about whether to have Twolk with soy sauce or ketchup. This culinary calamity meant the carrier was exposed and expertly knocked out be Feskittar. The butchers won the enuing scum but the ball was pooped by Feskittar again and again. After he had made life difficult for the ogre supporting the gnoblar on the ball, the pigskin (we hope) was fumbled, and the match was tied.

Special credit has to be given to Feskittar who achieved the difficult feat of taking out three gnoblars, making him eligible for the triple X award.”
