"Sea Elf. Sea Elf run. Run Elf, run!"

S.N.O.T. Sports Management were very proud of this idea. Arrange a game to coincide with the launch of the "Fun With Skip and Lump" educational reading series. Available at all good bookstores, or as part of your subscription to Lumpworld+.

Lump was back for the game albeit he had been rather reluctant to sit and sign piles of first editions over the last 3 hours. Fortunately the Sea Elves were in town, bringing with them a pungent aroma of dried sardines. If there was one thing that got Lump going it was the thought of gobbling down fishy delights. With renewed vigour L.A.D.S. strode onto the field, 20 strong and ready to put on a show.

Kick Off
L.A.D.S. 20-11 Ithilmar Invincibles

The game certainly got going with a bang. Quite literally. Clart killing a Sea Elf with the first punch of the match, quickly followed by Kaboom nearly blowing his own head off.

The Stench Elves squirmed in amongst the L.A.D.S. and cause untold trouble until Lugz was able to dash off deep into Invincibles territory. Eventually Lugz was able to dash over for a score.

Disappointingly for L.A.D.S. the Soggy Elves were able to score a TD of their own shortly before half time. The lesson would need to be learned, it's probably not best to a hold live recital whilst the ball is still in play.

Half Time
L.A.D.S. 23 - 12 Ithilmar Invincibles

Second half was a much less exciting, although Lobz decided to follow in the footsteps of his hero Kaboom and blow himself up. Much of the half was the Shelves hiding deep in their half whilst Kai tried his hardest foul anything and anyone he found under his feet. Sadly what he gave in enthusiasm, he didn't manage in accuracy or effectiveness. The result just a couple of KOs.

At the death there was a frantic moment where a spilled Elf pass was eventually recovered by Lugz, but his stilts betrayed him and down the ball went again.

All in all, another successful game for the L.A.D.S.. Not only win 24 of 22, but also over 50,000 units shifted to eager new readers.
