“An even match on paper, the Hellbringers started the match on the back foot when veteran player Bzarkren could not take the field due to a niggling injury.

However, the Hellbringers played like a team possessed, pushing up the floor and forming a cage that slowly advanced upfield, flattening EadBasher after EadBasher.

By the time the ball had been delivered into the end zone, 5 Eadbashers had been knocked out, whilst Hellbringers emerging star Tziggoran had been badly hurt. The Eadbangers had a difficult chance to score before the second half, but chose to play it safe.

In the second half, the Eadbangers received, and after losing some initiative in the midfield, tried an unlikely long bomb throw team mate pass. This allowed the Hellbringers to swarm on the ball and eventually recover it and score a second TD.

Realising the game was lost, the EadBashers then focused on getting lineorc Grendal to record a completion so that he could go from an experienced player to a veteran. After 2 failed attempts, the Hellbringers stole the ball and scored a third TD to finish the match.

A nice opponent, who had some bad luck early, and then still played sportingly despite the luck I was having. I rolled Get the Ref twice (7 FF higher) but did not commit any fouls, though I was tempted on one occasion LOL.”
