After McClain's ritual of fumbling the ball in an open field to open an offensive drive, UCF got off to a strong start with a quick score to put them up 1-0. But after the Sasquatches set up for their opening offensive drive, UCF attacked, leaving Smoky Mtn down multiple players and unable to score.
After halftime, Smoky Mtn set up again, this time with less than eleven players. UCF naturally responded by pressing their numbers advantage, beating the Simyin into the turf and scoring their second touchdown on the day. After that, Smoky Mtn reluctantly lined up for the final drive of the game before the game finally ended for the bruised apes.
The MVP of the match was none other than Center Paul Rubelt who managed 2 casualties on the day, tying with Mathew Alexander for most Casualties on the season, but more importantly achieving UCF's first Kill as he slammed gorilla Peter Codern after Smoky Mtn's Apothecary was already busy helping another down player.”
