“As many 1's as were rolled by both sides, it's impossible to say "this could've been different if only for this roll" or such. But I think the turning point came in turn 7 of the second half, when I popped the ball free of his cage of elves via chain-blocking, and suddenly I found myself with a lone orc running free in the elven backfield towards the winning score, with a line of black orcs between him and the elves. However, in his haste to score my lineman tripped on his gfi, opening up the opportunity for the elves to sneak one lone elf past my line, snatch up the ball and pass it the other way for the elves to instead run in for the winning score.
Nice game, though I'm gonna have to pay more attention to the sidelines, as the loss of one of my black orcs to a sideline bh didn't help my cause. Bedtime SI'd himself via a failed dodge, which is the other main source of injuries for this squad. But here's to our troll, who overweight or not got game MVP and is now full of himself, ready to take on all blockers.”
