Can certainly learn from mistakes, and will try, but empty feeling on conclusion.
Learnings:
1. DOUBLE BASE
Should have double based ball on ground, making the pick up harder.
Still, humans with 7 re rolls can basically do anything they want, most of the time. But could have made it trickier.
Poor mistake, from poor order of operations. We snaked a GFI, but should have prioritised ghoul dodge and movement first. Guess it would not matter in case of snakes.
2. OVER EXTEND
We over extended to pounce on loose ball, and did not cover the scoring threat. It was all or nothing, and we end with nothing.
As a result, the 3+, 1db, 3+, 3+, 4+, 3+, 2+ is made and we are scored upon. The trap from a superior coach was sprung, and we fell into it.
The 25% play was found and made. Leaving egg on face.
3. SACK
Biggest mistake of match, not to be repeated going forwards- we left our ball carrier in range of strip ball sack.
Very poor play, and reason for loss I believe. We covered the south, but not the north, and it was easily preventable. 79% chance on that. Terrible.
Summary:
Not all games can be fun, but if we can learn from them then there is some value to the time spent. C'est la vie”
