“terribly difficult game.
I struggled a lot to draw, under pieces and with a dice average below standard. zero cas, maybe 4 stunned.
on the contrary my opponent regularly managed to flash and pierce the armor.
except in a couple of cases he was really lucky with the dice.
I exported an Italian saying.
hoping that my opponent understood the meaning and did not take the words literally as if they were an insult.
I do not know if there are similar sayings in the world.”
“Outplayed by a superior coach, despite their terrible luck.
Could not match the strength of the TK, and we found ourselves constantly pulled out of position and scored upon easily.
Learnings:
1. STALL
There was an option to stall for longer, which I think we should have taken.
There were risks associated with it, but in hindsight we should have pursued it. Our cunning opponent had no problems scoring.
2. BLITZ
We had an opportunity to blitz the ball carrier with 1db. Using a re roll, this is 75% chance of success.
We had make a blitz on the carrier with same odds, but re-rolled into skulls. Perhaps the recency bias of failing the same move got to us.
In contrast, our opponent made a bold 20% (with re-roll, which was not required) play to 1db sack our ball carrier.
Excellent vision which was rewarded, and proof that when it counted I was up against a vastly superior coach capable of making the right decisions at the right time.
3. ASS
I was told that "you have more ass than soul". Which means I am lucky. Which explains why I was not completely smashed.
So, I have learned that, which is nice. ”
