Every time I had a chance to turn it around, the dice betrayed me.
First half was alright. I was good with the quick score. Both goblin weapons out, long half to go - things looking up. However, perfect kick in my EZ, forcing me to rush, extend, things like that. I had a chance to tie it and saved my RR for it. rush fail, RR success, then rush fail.
Second half, ANOTHER perfect kick in the EZ. There's kind of a scrum for the ball. I position around it and dare not pick it up until; I take out a few goblins. But as seen in the injury rolls, its fumbbl job to make sure that my injury rolls are non-existant (62% 6 or lower - absurd).
I continue failing rushes like Im allergic to them. I think in my next box team, I may try to just forgo rushes completely - even if its crucial for a drive. I fail them so often in fumbbl - but I cant fail what I dont roll.
The goblins always pressured and my opp made a bunch of dodges and rushes to continue to press - very well done.
Part of me thinks, should I have set more back in the seocnd half. But I was thinking if I wanted to draw, I had to hope the kick wasnt magically in the EZ again and start with some forward progress. I'll probably think on it. ”
