“Akhorne did something cool first turn, blitz-surfing a bull centaur into the crowds... then promptly died after failing a dodge to safety.

Elves did... elfy things. Team was set to score after a not-too-violent first half of elf stalling, including five completions by the Thrower... decided on a 3-die blitz with a wardancer (still with a reroll) against a hobgoblin. Triple skulls into triple skulls. Cannot recall that I've seen that before...



Second half went the way of the elfses who managed to run through the sluggish dorfs. Having the best bull centaur out on sick leave after tripping on his own hooves on a longish blitz helped a lot.

Hobgoblin fouler #14 was the preferred target for elimination on turn 16, considering his 8 (!) unnoticed fouls during the game... but sadly he was out of range. We targeted #3, then terminated him with extreme prejudice (and hardened elf boots) on a solid turn 16 foul. ”
