“Orcs were screwed with the wizard (as they should!) but solid play got them back into the game with the counterscore. Can't dakka if all your rerolls snake, turns out, but the tv difference might have still asserted itself.

First half started perfectly for the elves, with a combination of short kick, solid defence and a wizard did its thing, and suddenly orcs were 1-0 down before the game had really started. Recovery went ok, we shuffled up the side and managed to get to half-time 1-1 and game on with the elves down to 9.
Second half 9 quickly became 7, and as the elves retreated towards their own line the orcs pressed up, waiting for the breakout. But - nuffle had other ideas, and as Rib-Goaty started his escape plan, he started rolling 1s... and more 1s, and elves disappeared, and the crowd threw the ball to my thrower... and game over 2-1 to Orcs.
