But I recovered, washed down my frustration over dreadful dice with a nice drink. (Cointreau in case you wondered) and decided to try another game.

And it started so well; a blitz for me. I place my AG5 gutter underneath it. He proceeds to BH the poor thing. No tackle, no mighty blow mind you. Of course nothing truly (permanently) bad but tactically very damaging this early in the game.

Not gonna sum it all up but the worst bit was when my thrower failed to pick up the ball two turns in a row. (yes;;even skaven throwers have sure hands) No opponent tackle-zones mind you. He on the other hand picked it up with a gutter (on 4+) and passed it (LP=3+) and caught it on 3+. Not even wasting a re roll.

Time to start drinking heavily IMO. ;-(

Or maybe when my AG5 gutter tried to pick up the ball. Unfortunately I had my fifth doubleskulls earlier in that turn; burning a RR. Obviously he failed. AG5 or AG-Umpteen; a 1 is a 1. The ball scatters straight into his Rat-Ogre-tz and even two other players tz.

Time to become an alcoholic I'd say.

A game like this is not complete without shitty winnings, (30k) and a drop in fan factor. Not to mention the niggle he gave my tackling Stormvermin whom caused 3 casualties in that game. (He could have been dead just as well; retired immediately)

Which brings me to my 'lucky' opponent.
Well; what I had in ball-handling he had with casualties.
3 deaths (including a thrown rock!) vs a team without even mighty blow? That stinks. On top of these 2 serious injuries, (one apothed) one with a niggle, the other a stat-loss (cannot remember which one) And not skill-less lino's. 2 gutter runners and a thrower dead-dead.

We both lost, he just happens to score more touchdowns...
