Grudge Bloodhand came back from being crippled in his first game to getting crippled again. The coaching staff has let him go with a decent severance package. A new lineman, Dick McCooley, has been hired to replace him.

Finally, Jim Gauntlet's old war wound was acting up again! This time he forced the team doctor to patch him up for the game (at the doctor's objection, but what was he going to do?) Thanks to Jim's risky decision, the Gypsies were able to field 10 players and that was enough for them to win this one!
