“A good first game for the Angband Alcoholics, though Olga was suffering from a hangover, so she wasn't of much help. I guess she got the MVP out of pity.

The Alcoholics began kicking, the Angels did a good break through the defence with Bastion, the Celestial Angels' catcher, taking the lead. But he was obviously not prepared for Olga stepping in the way, and definetly not ready Bengt dodging away and blocking him in his back. A little harder and he would be one spine poorer.

So, the Alcoholics had stopped the darn elves from scoring a quick touchdown, but it's not over yet.
The ball is still quite close to Angband Alcoholics' endzone. The only thing in the way of taking it is Griffin Warrior, one of Angels' Blitzers, and, not thinking about him having sidestep, Bob the Guttersleeper decides to take him down. Of course, Griffin decides to land on the ball. Which bounces up at Bob!
Bobs reflex tells him to get it away from him, luckily it goes straight up and he gets another chance at catching it. Utterly failing that too, the ball lands a few feet away from him. So he takes a step, picks it up and starts scratching his head. Wondering what he should do now.
As soon as Bob realized that the fans were cheering at him, he roared "CAGE!" and could easily jog towards a touchdown.

The second half the Alcoholics managed to cage the ball halfway down the Angels' field, where it became crowded with elves. Totte, who had the ball, handed it over to Olga while Bengt ran like a stung pig to the endzone. Olga could get close enough for a short pass, without any elves in the way for an interception. Though due to the hangover, she failed and dropped the ball at her side.

Next thing we knew. There's an elf, carrying a ball, in the Alcoholics' endzone.

The last turns of the match the Angband Alcoholics were fighting elves from taking the ball. They got the ball, but luckily Bastion failed the 2+ dodge he needed to do a touchdown.
