“The Rat Boys took a few casualties early and had a hard time establishing a lead during the first half. The fans, apparently frustrated at their slow progress and and anxious over such a small lead, decided to take things into their own hands immediately after halftime. Rushing onto the pitch, the Hometown fans lay waste to the unprepared CrookBack Runners. When the field was finally cleared and the dust settled, two of the Runners were badly hurt while one was knocked out and three were left stunned but able to continue. The Hometown Rat Boys were virtually unchallenged for the remainder of the match. Longbathek, of the CrookBack Runners, was overwhelmed blitz by Storm Vermin Bobby and ceased to live during a routine blitz.”
