Orc Capades: Orcs on Ice

As always, Markela was a fun opponent. Assisted by a timely pitch invasion (luckily for me, nobody was injured/killed, as my apothecary had already been used) and WONDERGOAT THE AMAZING!, Markela showed that Ice is Nice!

Sadly, Markela could not kill one of my players, to recruit a badly needed Rotter to his ranks. :(

:(

:)

Tee hee! Looking forward to our next match!

Always a pleasure to play against any of Zarkhor's teams and Belligerent Degenerates were no different. With only two rotters we were fighting against a much stronger team. They overpowered us with brute force in the first half that we could not match. We answered in turn by scoring a somewhat risky, somewhat quick touchdown. The orcs and mainly their goblin had the chance to score in the very end of the first half but he failed to catch the ball.

In the second half we got a god sent pitch invasion that rendered almost the entirely line of defense stunned. We moved forward almost all of our players but in the confusion we made a few tactical errors that we had to pay for later. Nobody guarded the troll and that caused us an inconvience we could have done without. Since the pass was successful we could score a pretty safe touchdown and prepare for six nerve rattling turns of defense.

The Denegerates took their time and tried to keep their ballcarrier behind their line of defense. Filth Fever (Wondergoat the Amazing) saw an oppertunity to make a hole in their defenses and soon their ballcarrier was surrounded by three beastmen.
But Zag Ripfang showed that he also could dodge like an elf and escaped our cage. But once again did wondergoat have to risk his life when attempting a daring move to block Zag Ripfang into the ground. He made the dodge but did not make the block successfully. Then it got really crowded and things did not look that good for us. Then we saw a solution to our problems, we could move the beast into position and then block their ballcarrier and at least push him close to the beast. Unfortunately this brilliant plan failed due to a failed dodge and we thought it was going to end in a draw. But luckily for us, the orcs failed their block and the game ended with our victory.
