“We set up our first TD with ease but a failed catch complicated matters some but in the end we scored in turn 3. The orcs tried to throw their goblin but when that failed they tried to move out on the flanks. Unfortunate blocks and a missplaced ghoul cost us a touchdown in the 8th turn. It was a Long shot to begin with but the orcs did not give up and kept going. Several blocks, dodges, going for it but everything worked out in the end for the orcs.

In the second half their flying gobbo scored a one turn touchdown. We did however not defend us very well against that and we will have to discuss that with the assistant coaches. We got blitzed on our drive and that complicated things alot, we were lucky to be kept in control over the ball until we could send a long pass to Howling Terror who had sent his pursuer into the ground earlier. Being totally unchallenged we had to take the decision if we were to score or stall. We scored the touchdown, as stalling is such a boring play and this time we set up our players for the flying gobbo attack. With a better defense the orcs tried to advance on the sidelines instead. That proved to be a fatal mistake (Just ask Grimlugt) who we pushed into the crowd and they killed him, maybe because of the foul that was commited against one of our werewolves earlier. Their goblin who carried the ball tried to flee in panic but Howling terror made short work of him. Long Ear took care of the ball and we were all of a sudden in a scoring position. It was all down to a 2+ pass, 3+ catch and then a 2+ gfi to win the game. Unfortunately the ghoul did not catch the pass and the game ended in a tie.”
