“Odd but fun game. Neither team were all that lucky during the game. But due to a failed block by our beast their runner could make a run for it. Filth Fever chased him down but failed to land a successful block. We needed one more beastman to follow up to secure the situation. However this failed and from there it was no big deal to score late in the first half.

So 1-1 at halftime, the game was far from over. A good kick and the dwarves were to close to the LOS for comfort. We moved in a few players and even managed to get a successful block at their ballcarrier. Filth fever stepped up to the plate and dodged like krazy and took care of the ball. Luckily enough we managed to keep control over the ball and could make a run for it that eventually led to a 2-1 lead. Once again the dwarves started their drive and as before it had no momentum. They got caught in to many players and had to protect their ballcarrier more then they could advance. But since the clock was ticking desperation took over. Larry took the 4+ dodge, the 3+ dodge to get closer to the endzone. We saw this and set out to hunt him down. Our blitz failed but we moved 3 beastmen to make sure he stayed put anyhow. After a few blocks the dwarves managed to clear way for their runner. He handed over the ball to Larry 5+ who dodges out 3+ and then takes two going for it in blizzard to score in the 16th turn. ”
