“What can i say, Lady luck sure smiled upon her Amazons this day but it was not enough to give them a victory. It started out bad, as it usually does theese days.
We blocked down the few players on LOS and was about to blitz with Twisted Bull. As usual, this is bound to fail in so many ways. We rolled those double skulls and cursed. The amazons swarmed down upon us and we were in big trouble. Lady's Luck, true to their name started out with injuring one of of hobgoblins and went on to swamp our ballcarrier. With amazing blocks they were also successful in recovering the ball. Kenny Surefoot had to show his worth and went to the rescue. Kenny even managed to steal back the ball and was running away from the viscious amazon crowd. Kenny, not true to his name went down and the ball scattered away. Susan managed to reach the ball and threw a pass to Kerry who scored their touchdown. We still had a few turns left to score before the half was up, or so we thought, a riot took up the rest of the half.

The second half we defended and we gave them a little troubble breaching our left flank. But the Amazons were still able to block down our players and almost got through when Kenny Surefoot sent their ballcarrier out into the waiting crowd. The ball was loose and Laura made an impressive dodge to reach the ball and picked it up. We swarmed laura with hobgoblins and cournered her against the sideline while Lord Dumathoin II took care of the ball. But Laura's fellow amazons were arriving shortly as well, crowding our ballcarrier. There was a short brawl that ended with most of the amazons on the ground and Laura being pushed out into the crowd. We had very little time left and had to make a run for it. Slave No Good started running and for once Lady's Luck seemed to have run out of luck. They failed the block to send our last hope into the ground. Slave No Good managed to outrun all the amazons and could tie the game for us in the 16th turn.”
