We started strong and slowly begun to grind our opponents into the ground. With Jim Gaunlet killed and their Ogre 'Mang the Merciful' injured their defense crumbled. Due to Ugly Snout's butterfingers the touchdown had to be on hold for two turns but eventually he got it right and score the touchdown.

In the second half we took advantage of our opponents bad luck and scored a quick touchdown during their drive as their thrower failed to pick up the ball.
The Gypsies took gave it another try and despite a very slow start where we managed to rush them and breach some of their lines they still managed to get an offense going. But their attempt at outrunning us did not pay off. Serlath cournered their runner at the sideline and knocked him out. The ball however flew out into the crowd and was thrown in and landed at Pitch Black's hooves.
Our team was scattered all over the field and we had no working defense. But we took a chance and passed the ball forward to Twisted Horn who could score in the 16th turn.

#12 Jim Gaunlet – Dead (RIP)
Well, it looks like the Gypsies have forgotten how to win.

Another shut-out (the second in three games). Another game without a score from Mr. Jones. And Dirk Demon was once again brought back to life by the team apothecary. That's the second game in a row the Demon has returned from the afterlife to play again.

Alas, all of the Kings were not so lucky. Jim Gauntlet fell for the final time while pushing a critical blitz early in the game. Knowing his time on the field was finite, Jim pushed his injuried body further than it could go in an attempt to go out in a blaze of glory. The loss of Jim Gauntlet crushed the team's spirit especially since Mang was badly hurt soon afterwards.

Flags will be flown at half mast for Mr. Gauntlet. All the Gypsies proceeds from this game were donated to his family. Replacements are lining up to honor Gaunlet's number. The loss of Gauntlet has dropped our ranking to 64th among human teams.

In less disheartening news, Ben Valentine showed unusual talent as a lineman late in the game by scoring the only casuality by taking out a choas warrior. It seems there is more to this boy than meets the eye.

Good game, Markela, this game goes to you!
