“hmm....some game. I hired a wizard for this game, my opponent being a tiny bit stronger but that wasn´t what made the game. Truth be told the game was decided midway through the first half.
My opponent recieved, secured the ball and stunned 3 of my bob´s leaving one in the middle all alone just waiting for the boot. And he got it. Badly hurt. then i tried my best to get to the ball and was rewarded with a move decrease on Volok, the team captain. Apo saved that one and luckily the following boot from my opponent was a KO and his dp was kicked out. Which later turned out to be very important. A failed dodge from my rookie thrower resulted in a SI -AV. So my opponent pressed on and i pressed on, putting my blitzers to good use. And then he killed Vagdish (blitzer) with a block which left me severely outnumbered and outgunned for the rest of the match. It all boils down to tekoda failing a dodge with reroll in his last turn, resulting in 0-0 at the start of the second half.
2. half. My opponent gets the ref. oh joy. but with his dp kicked out he wasn´t able to make a lasting injury even though he fouled me untill turn 5 or 6 i think. So i decide to go for a quick score and fall back and wait for the punisment. So i scored and fell back. And fell hard. Outnumbered 8-11(or maybe 8-10) he walked all over my players but didn´t make any serious attempt at scoring, seemed happy enough about just pounding me. But there was very little i could do IMO to prevent him from scoring. Which he did. 1-1 in a match that was hard-fought against a skilled opponent but decided by armour rolls. Not the funniest game ever.
This is in no way an attempt to belittle my opponent´s game. He played a slow, solid orc game without taking any unneccesary risks.
Looking forward to the rematch once i get things patched up.
