They started to press forward, but met stiff opposition from the Dig Dug players as they lined up for a bash at each other. The ball carrier moved forward and then retreated, wary of getting too far from the pack. eventually they got into a good position down the left flank and, although Horan put the ball carrier under pressure, Óin tripped on the blitz to let them run in for 1-0.
We had 5 turns to equalise, and we were receiving in the second, so we still fancied our chances. Two blitzes on Óin in two consecutive turns resulted in knockdowns, so we finished the half at 1-0.

Second half, and we set up, looking for the equaliser. Unfortunately a 6 turn riot put paid to any thoughts of that.
