Lineup, and the fans get the ref. His dp is licking his chops, and manages to throw a foul every single turn for the next 6 turns, even when it requires him making a 5+ dodge to lay it on. Lots of ko's, but thankfully nothing worse. I'm able to steal the ball away and score when his team pays more attention to knocking players over to foul, so half ends up 2-0.

Second half, he gets the ball and proceeds to ko two more players, while my ogre is sitting in the ko box from the first half. Looks bad, right? Azema looked to make that better! Blitzes a rookie beastman, RIP, apo fail. They manage to knock him over, and try to foul him with his ballcarrier, who with the ref undazed promptly throws him out, ball scattering around. Classic! Pity Azema was dazed as a result, else I might've gotten the ball...

Once Azema's unstunned, he stands up to blitz another rookie beastman, and bh's him. He knocks me down with a good solid tackle (requiring the apo), then tries a follow-up foul, only to have his dp guy thrown out on the resulting stun as well. Suddenly he's down two cas, two foul-ejects, multiple ko and losing 2-0. No more time for him to stall hitting, gotta score and score fast!

Lineup, and I manage to overpower his line with my awakened ogre and friends. Azema ko's yet another chaos warrior, much to the chagrin of my opponent. He forthwith focuses the rest of his game trying to do something about Azema, to no avail. In fact, his efforts to crowdpush him only result in two of HIS guys getting crowdpushed instead! He nevertheless uses some impressive dodging/blitzing to stop my ballboy blitzer from scoring...until he manages to complete a 4+ dodge and pickup in the endzone. Isn't SF a great skill?

Fun game despite the ton of fouls (since they were all ko/stun, I'm in a much better mood than if they were all cas). Cyas!”
