“A tale of two halves basically. He got a blitz! opening kickoff, and when I flubbed my pickup roll he scored easily. Next drive, he manages to make a series of dodges and gfi's to take down my ballrat, and a stupid decision on my part on which player to dodge with changed a 1-1 game to a 2-0 deficit.

Second half, he's receiving, turns it into 3-0 lickity-split, nothing I do seems to be working. Until finally he rolls double-skulls, opening me up to score my first. Lineup again, he fails a dodge away from my rat ogre (he had troubles dodging all day long, except that first half super-blitz), letting me get the ball and score a second time. Game's getting tense now...

Last two turns of hte match, I'm down 3-2, he's receiving. He takes the ball deep to his own endzone, and is holding it with a str 4 blodger. I advance as many rats as I can, hoping for a miracle to happen, while I try also to beat down on his elves in scoring range. Get one of them, the other is surrounded but has NoS, so just gotta hope for a failed dodge or something...

Nope, my opponent decides to try to stall while hitting my rats all over, both shallow and deep. However, he rolls a double-skulls w/o a rr, letting me go after his str 4 guy with a strip-baller. After this it's some fancy dodging by my ratelf Sasquatch, who manages to take the ball and score the equalizer in the very last turn of hte match! Draw game, enough winnings for another gutter, ff up, two skills...wonderful outcome!
