But stopping him the first time was not my goal; there's a reason a game is 16 turns long, not just 2! Scored very quickly myself (a quick snap promoting my gutter to a ots), his ball once more. He still considers me a nuisance and not a real threat yet, leaping over my heads to set up blitzes and running lanes to score again. However, his overconfidence was his downfall, as he stumbled and fell from the leap. Now the rats are in business!

Strip-ball, tackle, agi 4...these are the tools I worked with. MB, knuckledusters (handicap)...these are the tools I hit with. A few cas and a couple scores later, and the elves aren't smiling nearly so much anymore. Especially when a perfect defense has them scratching their heads, a blitz has them on their heels, a riot negates any chance they might've had of scoring the equalizer.

Four skills (one each of 6, 16, 31, 51 spp--all normal skills, no aging) from the game, more fans (FINALLY!!!), nobody got hurt/lost. Two more players in range of getting their next skill next game...the rats are rolling and having fun!”
