“The Hellbringers were suprised to receive a challenge from the less experienced High Elf Team, but quietly licked their lips and said, yes! (My opponent could have played my Skaven instead, but he chose Chaos Dwarves!)

The Hellbringers started in offence, and quickly powered their way forward, scoring shortly before halfway through the match when all the elves were either knocked out, or lying on the ground playing dead and they didn't want to wait around all day.

This turned out to be a bad move as the Clan scored a quick reply TD when they pulled off a very difficult play, then scored a second TD to take the lead when the Hellbringers were unable to pick up the ball in the backfield (man I should have stalled the 4 turns LOL).

The Clan started in offence in the second period and things were looking very glum for the Hellbringers, until the over confident clan Thrower left himself within charge range (read 9 squares) from both Hellbringer Bull Centaurs who happily ran him down. The Hellbringers scooped up the ball and scored a quick TD to put themselves back in the match.

Things were looking bad now for the clan who had difficulties fielding enough players as the rampant Hellbringers had injured quite a few and knocked out others in the first period and the opening minutes of the second.

The Clan were soon pressured into a difficult pass which was fumbled and the Hellbringers again recovered the ball and scored the winning TD.

A fun game which I almost lost due to scoring so early in the first period and allowing my opponent time to not only score, but steal the ball off me and score again when I kept failing my sure hands rolls LOL.

However, he made an early mistake in the second half letting me back in the game, and then my superior numbers started to take effect.

Nice game against a fun opponent. He will be much harder to beat next time thanks to all the tips I gave him during and after the game LOL
