“A riot to start and end this exciting close game.

The Guardians started at a disadvantage due to the extremely sunny conditions, but managed to score a TD despite having their Wardancer knocked out early. The Guardians were almost, but ultimately unable to stop the Moosetamers from scoring a reply in the reduced opening period.

The Moosetamers started in offence in the second half, but due to pressure from the Guardians, were forced to attempt a long pass (with no reroll left) and the ball was stolen by the Guardians who took the lead shortly afterwards.

With half of the second period remaining, the Moosetamers were again pressured into making a difficult pass on offence and Guardian Wardancer Caladriel Stormbringer leaped over his own players and scooped up the ball in front of three stunned Moostamers, and ran the ball backwards.

The Guardians spread out everywhere, and the Moosetamers followed them. However, the Guardians dropped an easy hand off (damn 1s!!!) and the Moosetamers where able to get to the ball, throw a short pass, catch and sprint into the end zone to tie the game.

There was no time left for the Guardians to score the winning TD and the game finished the way it started with another riot by the fans.

A very close game. If I had rolled 2+ on that last hand off, the game was pretty much over as I would have run deep in offence and to a supporting player, giving him a 2 dice hit to get rid of his last defender. It was not to be, Nuffle was against me big time today, with no casualties caused by me, but all 3 of his being Serious Injury Miss Next Game!
