“I hate that mino. Very first game, very first action, very first turn...RIP on my best lineman. Thankfully the apo was on the ball, but a rather scary way to start the game. Two turns later he SI's a promising lineman, this guy's turning into a monster. My own ogre did his best to keep up, and it looked after 4 turns like it was the battle of the Big Guys.. But it was Midas who truly had the bloody touch, as he got 3 cas in a 4 turn span second half to secure the victory for his squad. Was a very violent few turns, actually--5 cas, 3 ko and a crowdpush stun in that same 4 turns between teams. Had a chance to tie the game in the closing moments, but despite passing accurately from the 50 yard line my catcher drops a 3+ w/rr touchdown pass. My opponent then makes 4 gfi's to push me away from the ball and then pick it up with his str 4 lineman. I have only a rookie catcher in blitz range, which would have been a 3d-he-picks block, no rr left, no apo, so I decided not to do the stupid desperation blitz and live to fight another day.

I commend my opponent for his game. He got buzzing as his handicap, giving him 6 frenzy players with precious few guards to help set up assists. However, he managed to get away with it anyway (though the blocking dice made things easy on him--rarely did he not knock me down with his initial hit, and his 1d blocks were POWs). I demand a rematch down the road!”
