“Unlucky Amazon ball handling gave the Woodies a 2-0 head start quite quickly, forcing the warrior women to get violent to stand a reasonable chance of winning, and sweet, inexperienced Allison was brought on to kick the Wardancers (or, for that matter, any decent Wood Elves...) when they were down. A lucky break stopped the game becoming 3-0, and the Amazons managed to bring the ball all the way from their TD line to the opposite end of the pitch on the last turn of the second half.

Receiving in the second half, and trailing 1-2, the Amazons opted for an aggressively defensive strategy. Allison was unable to work her charms on the ref, and got sent off on her second foul. The ball was knocked eventually knocked loose by the Wood Elves but, now outnumbered, they were bashed back down, Ekaterina finally managing to score, on turn 8 of the last half as well!

A close game. Looking forward to a rematch sometime, if the Woodies are up for it. ;-)”
