Should have got at least a draw, could've gone 1-0 up had I GFI'd, but having no re-roll I thought it best not to. Had I known the Ogre would pass bonehead, blitz on a double GFI I might have risked it...Then, to add insult to injury, he passes again, double GFI's again to make a handoff, to get the ball away and score...I ask you...

The balance of play from then on was even stevens, but if i'd only made a bloody GFI...

Shame about the SF blitzer though. Never like perm's on decent players, but they were always gonna dominate the game, and my blocks were crap :-(

#5 House Master Varnel II – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#5 House Master Varnel II – Smashed Knee (NI)
I truly hate dp, far moreso than claw/rsc players. Claw/rsc only add +2, period. DP can add as many assists as you can pack around, which is what he did to two of my blitzers, niggling a SF guarder in turn 2 of the match, apo fail. He finally let off the fouling when he had players sent off pitch two turns in a row, but by then the damage had been done. Without my blitzers (a third in ko) I was forced to make rash plays I wouldn't normally, and it very nearly cost me the game. Thankfully, I'm not the only one who rolled 1's at crucial points of the game, so I was able to squeek out a victory at the end. Enough cash to replace my blitzer, so aside from losing his SF skill I'm alright. My 51 spp blitzer passed his skill roll w/o aging, so I'll call the game decent. :-)
