The Nandorins started in offence and scored easily after blasting a hole down the middle of the pitch and flooding the Juggernauts backfield. However, they lost their new Dragon Warrior Manerendario who was struck a maiming blow by the Juggernauts Troll, Smasher Vomitflesh just moments after the Chaos Dwarf team launched their defence (it might have been the very first block of my turn 1...).

The Juggernauts started their drive with a cage, advancing slowly and probing for an advantage. Late in the half they handed the ball to Bull Centaur Tzor Zagron who powered forward with a pair of bodyguards.

The Nandorins blitzed him, but instead of pushing him back upfield, they pushed him sideways! Tzor Zagron broke away and sprinted into the endzone for a score.

In the second half, the Juggernauts started in offence and put together a string of powerful blows as they set up a cage. Four Nandorins were knocked out and seeing a huge gap downfield, the Juggernauts decided to score quickly and take their chances rather than grind out a long stalling game.

This paid off when all four Nandorin players who were carried off were not prepared to come back on the pitch, claiming they were not given enough time to redo their hair after the sudden and unexpected score by their opponents!

With only 6 (or 7) players taking the field, the Nandorins were instantly in trouble when the Juggernauts pulled a fast switching Perfect Defence on them. The Nandorins did the best they could and stretched out across the field, with a possible Long Bomb score coming up.

The Juggernauts applied as much pressure as they could and unfortunately for the Nandorins, their Phoenix Warrior tripped over a blade of grass and stunned himself!

Wtih the Nandorin team (well, if you could call 4 standing players a team...) all spread out and nowhere near the ball, Chaos Dwarf Lzdakrol Soulstealer decided to show up the sissy Nandorins by scooping up the loose ball and throwing a sweet short pass that was caught upfield by one of the Juggernaut Hobbo contingent and turned into a score!

The Nandorins lined up again with enough time to salvage some pride by scoring a second TD, but again it was not to be as the Juggernauts applied heavy pressure and the Long Bomb pass was fumbled (I think).

The Juggernauts with the game won decided to show up their nancy pancy opponents once more with another Chaos Dwarf scooping up the ball and throwing a short pass just to rub the Nandorins noses in it.

However, the pass missed badly, which told all the spectators the first CD completion was just a fluke.

The Nandorins were able to salvage a little pride by picking up the ball and scoring a TD late in the game to register a closer scoreline.
--------------
Definately a fun game against a fun coach. My opponent was very sporting and did not whine when the luck was against him (eg all 4 players failing their KO rolls, and then me getting a flurry of Badly Hurts early in the second half to reduce his team down to 5 or 6) and laughed with me when I tried silly throwing games with my Chaos Dwarves.

Certainly a friendly fun coach I would happily play again some time.
