“Paulhicks started with merely 12 players vs 14 of my guys. However, after a catastrophic start I was down to 7 players vs 9 rats on the pitch and so the 2nd incarnation of evil was able to secure a 1-0 lead, if I recall correctly. Fortunately, lady luck jumped into the breach during the second half, blessing my elves with a blitz that ensured the 1-1. A bold breakthrough attempt by the skaven was shot down by bad luck as the star gutter runner tripped over his shoe laces and woke up in the K.O. box.
Hopelessly outnumbered, the skaven tried to prevent the elves from reaching the ball. They even launched another attempt at landing a second touchdown of their own, but in the end, the elves barely won the game by scoring in round 7 of the second half.
“that was one of the most bizzare but fun games ive ever been involved in.
the dice were rediculous but in a very even and humourous way. there was double 1's and skulls every where but we both just laughed it off and enjoyed the match. both our luck meters read 50% ^^ and i think thats a very fair representation of how the rolls went. bad straight down the middle = )
optihut is a great coach and a very good sport. he thouragly deserved the win but im proud knowing just how close it was in the final turns. im looking forward to the rematch already.”
