Lesson 3 : When you had enough luck to still be in position to get the ball back & secure the td, don't retaliate otherwise Lesson 2 will also apply.

Lesson 4 : Don't blitz opposing "key" players who are not strategically positioned.

Lesson 5 : Don't try to pick up the ball with the player who previously failed.

I'd been lucky enough to already know some of these lessons, that probably made the difference.
