“Comparing last round to this round, what a difference two dirty players showing up makes. 4 Cas between them really helped keep the skinks dominant (the big lizards certainly can't be relied on to do much damage)
3 points: Amorica - only two cas for the crowes were fouls by this undersized beastman including removing the krox early in the game and then the 4 skill Saurus in the first half.
2 points: Horsehead for keeping the skinks honest (tackle+mb is just as bad if not worse than tackle+claw on stunties)
1 points: Gone 5+ pickup in 3 tackle zones was about the only time this game that the crowes really looked like scoring.
Just one of those games where everything seemed to come right, oz just couldn't make any really crucial rolls and his claw beastman repeatedly failed to break av6 while my ball handling didn't fail once. Good fortune like that makes winning so much easier. Commiserations to oz who played well to keep the pressure up and better luck next week.”

The Crowes are an all or nothing team...and today they were nothing. Our opening drive was set up perfectly...our classic move..bread and butter...all went perfectly...til HorseHead dropped the handoff from Gone! You'd think a couple of veterans would know better...but alas suddenly it is a scramble..and the skinks are up 1-0.
After that..well...it was just ugly...our only two CAS against them were from fouls...we didn't hardly stun..let alone hurt..any of them!!! Us with claw and MBs up the wazoo....a fist full of 2's and 1's on armour rolls and can't scratch a skink?!?...missing easy GFIs...Taller couldn't knock over a lamp...it was simply a day the Herd showed up with yesterdays manure still on their hooves. I blame the bye week...this team just can't afford to lose momentum. Now once again the flag is out of reach...and we play simply to hang on to our slot...which ain't gonna be easy.
