When Skaven and High Elves can't score on offense despite a combined TR of 570, you know it's an odd game. The first 4 points were all scored by the kicking team, with The Red Menace finally scoring the first OFFENSIVE touchdown on turn 8 of the second half.

I whined about my atrocious luck some during the game, but afterwards as I looked back on it, it was really a whole lot of fun. The Menace has 3 great defensive Gutter Runners and they wreaked havoc with my offense. Blodgin' - Side - Steppin' - Pass - Blockin' - Divin' - Tacklin' nightmares, to a rat. We really spent most of the match trying to figure out how to get past one another. Needless to say, 6' did so a whole lot more efficiently than I.

Although the rats had a bit of a disadvantage coming in (aside from the 3 nightmarish GRs, the Cordials had a distinct edge in experience), SixFootDwarf played it like a pro and managed to capitalize on every mistake. In fact, he forced most of them.

Sorry for the whining, 6'. It really was a fun match, if occasionally frustrating. I'll be happy to try to find a way around those Rats any time you want a rematch.
