“One thing to say. Owch.
Not the best game from my point of view. The dice were a bit one sided, and I feel a little hard done by.
In the first drive I had 2 Mummys and a ghoul left on the pitch by the end of the half. Easy touchdown. Nuff said.
Second half wasnt as bad, but not much better. When JanMattys did have bad luck, I'd fail a dodge or a GFI or whatever and was unable to capitalise. JanMatys rolled a few skulls and failed a dodge or two and was a great sport and opponent as always. I enjoyed the game up to a point, but games like that sometimes arnt fun. I'm glad this game was against a great opponent otherwise I might have been even more frustrated!
Sometimes you just cant beat the dice.

Total dice rape against squig...
My humans inflicted casualties just like khemri, chaos and Orcs all in one. first half was absolutely incredible.
Second half was a little more balanced, probably due to the fact that my Ogre was badly hurt in turn eight by his DP (only good thing in the entire half for squig, but you know what? The DP was immediatly caught and sent off as well...).
He scored on a cool chainpush action, and left me 4 turns. I outnumbered him 11 to 9, and still he could get back the ball. Obviously, his counterattack ended on a 1-1 for the catch... and I scored again in turn eight after a rather desperate action to retrieve the ball.
Fun game.
Only one advice for my unlucky opponent:
Believe in Nuffle or die trying.
