What? The word on the lips of every Mentalists fan.

It lasted less than an hour and was, from the Dark Elf point of view, mostly tragic.

Niggled on his first skill, Heeb Thistle failed to start his first skilled match. With Angry Angry Arian already out it gave the Har Ganeth boys a healthy ten players. Morleys Revenge was the handicap, but it only affected Vultran and he was ok for the Dark Elves' kick-off

Servi's first turn resulted in one stunned and two knockdowns - so far so good. And the Mentalists responded well, using their Manic Mandae to blitz the semi-protected ball carrier, KO'ing him and freeing up the ball. Although a team reroll was used fro the first GFI of the game, Mad Hettie was able to put a TZ on the ball, even if she didn't risk grabbing it,

In turn 2 a claw-aided blitz on Mad Hettie put her in the injury box, and nothing used his Stormvermin Schiavo to recover the ball. Some decent blocking and covering allowed the Dark Elves to fight back, tying up the skaven receivers and putting another TZ on the ball carrier.

And then it all started to go wrong. Bitesy joined Mad Hettie in the injury box and Marty, after some nifty dodging from the skaven, was KO'd.

The first dice roll of Dark Elf turn three was snake eyes.

Four blocks made two KO's and a stunned and suddenly the Dark Elves had four men standing.

Another failed 2+ dodge (no rerolls left) meant another Dark Elf turnover.

Turn 5 went better - no injuries for the Mentalists and they made two 2+ dodges before their 1db blitz came up Skull. Although the Skaven made some progress turn 6 was a similar story, a pushback 1db made, a 2+ dodge made, a 2+ dodge failed (stunned). There was however, a Tacklezone of the ball carrier.

Turn seven saw two more Dark Elve's KO'd off the field - leaving three, two of whom were stunned. With around 50% of armour rolls failing (and there was only one clawed Skaven) the Mentlists were dropping like flies.

The one standing Dark Elf made two 2+ dodges but his last ditch 1d block came up skulls.

1-0 to the Servi della Gleba.

Morley's Revenge kicked in and with two players still in the knockout box, the Mentalists were only able to field 5 players for the kick off. Then the Skaven fans threw a rock and there were only four. It meant little anyway as their first 2dblock came up double skulls.

Second half saw another mighty 5 man Dark Elf offense. Though they tried their hardest it was all too easy for the Skaven to simply tie up the Elves and pick them off with Sciavus' claw.

A desperate blitz n' pass (n' reroll) saw Dr. Thranst with the score in sight, but a massed 3dice block sent him to the ground. Three more blocks meant three more injuries and the Dark Elf team finished the half with only the remarkably durable Dr. Thranst standing.

With the Mentalists getting less than a quarter of the total gate money, the only saving grace for Har Ganeth was Drenoch the Paranoid's two RIPs - both from suicide blocks (2d for and 2d against) that resulted in a double knock down - that removed Sciavus from the field in 2/7.
