“What a bizarre game.

Some nice caps for the Bitter Elves with It Wasn't Me, and I am the Greatest leaving the Guardians with less than eleven players for most of the match.

However, the Bitter Elves Throwers were suffering from nerves in front of a huge crowd and kept failing to pick up up the ball in the first half allowing the Guardians to steal the ball and score twice to take a 2-0 lead in the first half.

With such a deficit, the Bitter Elves were playing catchup for the most of the game though they did look like a threat to steal the ball and possibly draw the game at one stage but the Guardians managed to escape.

Unfortunately, one player got niggled early (a -1 Str guy) and the Guardians coach decided to save their match allocation of magic healing sponges on more important players - and the need never arose.

Deltharien Silverleaf is somewhat bitter about this, but he understands that it was in the team's best interest.

The dice were quite cruel to Ele this match. 5 rolls of 1 to pick up the ball and I make 2+ GFIs and 3+ dodges and 3+ to pick up the ball in a tackle zone heh.

No harm to his team, but the niggle to mine hurt. I woulda gladly lost that one despite the +1 FF in exchange for not niggling heh.
