“Luck reading is out due to a turn 8 first half disconnect when I got a quick snap and a decent chance of doing a one turn TD (I normally don't do one turn scores, but my opponent had stalled one turn before scoring - dirty rat heh).

Unfortunately, on the reload, I then missed my pass thanks to the Sunny conditions which plagued both of us all match.

In the end I lost after a string of cruddy rolls. I had was about to seal the game 3-2 but I rolled a 1, rerolled, then another 1 to set up the score with my AG5 Nerves of Steel Leap Catcher. My opponent then cleared the ball and managed to get the ball downfield to win instead.

The loss was also due to my silly greed. I rolled a 1 to pick up the ball and after rerolling, still tried a pass cos my player was on 15 SPP instead of running backwards into safety. I fumbled the ball and my opponent stole it which is how I ended up behind 1-2 in the first half anyway, so it was a combination of greed and bad luck in the end that got me.

It was a very close fun match though and I look forward to a rematch.”
