He received and scored quickly then constantly threatened my ball-carrier with his strip balling blitzers.
(Gawd; I miss my sure hands wight! Cursed ageing)

And important rolls just failed. he had a blodging tackler next to my ghoul with the ball close to the endzone. One gfi was all I needed with a Re-roll to back it up. That way the ghoul could 2D blitz him and a push would suffice. Unless of course you fail that gfi including a burned RR on that.

*sigh*

The second half saw more of this type of play; rather desperate Undead things incapable of getting elves of the pitch and thus struggling vs the strip ballers but in my turn 6 finally he failed something when it mattered. (whine ;) My new wight got the ball and with one gfi (with RR to back it up but Nuffle was lenient this time) scored 1-1. Leaving him 2 turns but no RR to score 2-1.

Of course the kick off event was a free RR for him.
(unlike his perfect defense he got vs me /whine again ;)

But in the end it was too hard to score a second time and thus the game ended a draw.

I enjoyed the game very much, also because of a very nice opponent.
