“One of the most hilarious games I've ever played on fumbbl. The High Elves put four orcs in the injury boxes, including two BoBs, so I was completely outnumbered already by the end of the first half. Miraculously Lord Andariel managed to score on the seventh turn of the first half, but the Elves had two turns left so they quickly retaliated. Stalling was unfortunately not an option with only seven players left on the field...

In the second half the elves were receiving and I was expecting a gruesome 4-1 win or something like that. However, the orcs fought like heroes and managed to postpone the winning touchdown until the fifth turn. And what a touchdown it was! It wasn't even made during the elves' turn; instead my only remaining line-orc blocked the ballcarrier, got skull/pow - both down - and the ball scattered into the hands of Falcone's catcher who was standing in the end-zone!

My hopes of tieing the game with my seven remaining players were quickly severed by an uberkick from the high elves. However, it looked like I even could have managed a TD (had i had loads of luck, of course) but just after my gobbo Kal'eiel handed the ball over to Lord Andariel, who was gonna blitz far into the opponent's half, the client freaked and my turn ended for no reason. Since the chances of scoring would have been quite small anyway we let it go without reloading and the score remained 1-2 for the elves.

After this game the cas record of Elfbowl Unlimited looks extremely elfish. So at least when it comes to breaking easily my boys seem to take their "elfdom" seriously. There is one exception, however: an honorable mention goes to the team's goblin Kal'eiel the Unbreakable, who valiantly stayed on the pitch throughout the whole game while half of the orcs were licking their injuries in the ko and injured boxes!
